You can now get a bright yellow branded postcard to demand specific action from your elected representatives while putting an exclamation point on every protest, boycott and rally.
Sponsored by Hear-The-People.info, the yellow postcards focus on an important front: MAIL. “No one is naïve; many actions on many fronts are required if we are to save democracy,” says project founder Cheryl Cage, the former Chair of the Pima County Democratic Party.
GOAL
Consistent, focused and unrelenting postcard messages to elected officials and national leaders.
The Hear-The-People.info postcard project will:
· provide a consistent outlet for resistance messages and
· raise the volume of dissent by joining voices.
MESSAGE
· We will no longer tolerate silence.
· We expect regular, in-person town hall meetings with our elected officials.
· We expected elected officials to speak out, in public and to power, against the tyranny of this
administration.
ACTION
· Branded postcards clearly identify these messages as a coordinated project backed by people who will
not be silenced.
· Postcards are marked with Reply Requested and ‘I have written you __ times.’
“The Hear-The-People.info message is: No more hiding. No more silence. We demand action,” Cage said.
Postcards are available NOW via three methods:
● PICKUP (Tucson metro area). Postcards are available at the Pima County Democratic Headquarters, 2302 E Speedway Blvd. OFFICE HOURS VARY. Please call ahead at 520-833-0733.
● PRINT-AT-HOME. A template to print your own Hear-The-People.info postcards.
● MAIL within Arizona. The organization must mail your packet of 50 Hear-The-People.info postcards directly to you within Arizona.
