June was a banner month for LD18 to get letters published in the Daily Star. Encouraged by Lori Cinnamond, LD18’S Strategy and Data Lead, at least six of our letter-writing heroes had their opinions published. Kudos to:

“Let’s keep up the momentum, get out your pens and let the presses roll!” said LD18 PC and Volunteer Development lead. LD18 is considering forming a Letter Writing Task Force to plan letters in advance and provide topics, research and talking points.
Rep. Nancy Gutierrez said that letters to the editor are very powerful. “They help voters understand the issues, give voice to one’s advocacy and remind people of happenings in the state legislature.
