Calling in all petitions!
We are now in the home stretch of the signature collection phase. Please turn in all signatures by Monday, June 24th. If you have a full petition, turn it in. If you have a petition with one signature, turn it in. Signatures do not count, unless the petitions are turned in. If you need help figuring out where to get your petition notarized or how to get it turned in, please contact Carol Evans.

Once you’ve collected those valuable signatures, remember to return the signed petitions within four weeks. Dropping off and picking up is easy at our convenient locations.

LD18 notaries are available by arrangement. Contact Carol Evans for an up-to-date list of notaries who can meet you at a convenient location. If you are a notary in LD18 and would like to be added to this list, Carol can help you with that, too.
Notaries are available at the Arizona List office (2702 E Broadway Ave, Tucson – 520 327-0520) the following times:
- Tuesdays 10 am – 1 pm
- Fridays 3 pm – 6pm
- Saturdays 10 am – 1pm
New and experienced notaries are encouraged to review the recommended notary guidelines.

May 1, 2024: Campaign announces heading into home stretch. Please turn in signatures in by Tuesday, June 25th. If you have a full petition, turn it in. If you have a petition with one signature, turn it in. Signatures do not count, unless the petitions are turned in.
April 2, 2024: Campaign announces signature collection milestone. Not all signatures are valid and therefore continued signature collection is necessary until the July 3 deadline to make sure that there are more than enough of the 383,900 valid signatures necessary to get this on the ballot. January 2024: “Backers of the Arizona Abortion Access Act announced Thursday that they’ve collected 250,000 of the 383,923 valid signatures they need to qualify for the 2024 ballot. They’ve done so in just four months, and have nearly six months left to continue gathering signatures.“
