Tesla Dealership Protest in Tucson
May 17 @ 8:30 am – 10:00 am
Join thousands of Americans protesting Elon Musk, DOGE and Trump here in Tucson!
Our voices are being heard, and we are making a difference. Simply show up at the corner of River Road and Oracle Road and pick up a sign.
Below is a message from organizer Phineas Anderson.

On Saturday, May 17, 8:30 to 10:00, we will return to the four corners of River and Oracle to do what we do so well, that is, educate passing cars about the Trump/Musk outrages with our topical and creative signs! American flag wavers are encouraged to come (Ukrainian flag wavers too!), as well as musicians, singers, people wearing white and purple colors (we will give out purple ribbons) and fun costumes! Come one and all! Thank you in advance to all of you who Spread the Word, plus Indivisible, 50501, MobilizeTucson, TakeActionTucson, Hispanic organizations, various unions, the religious community, and so many others!
We want to continue to emphasize a couple of things. One, we are unaffiliated, that is, Mitch and Phin Anderson and our umbrella group DUU (Democracy Unites Us). We welcome Democrats, Republicans and Independents, Please invite those friends of yours who might be of a different party, but who understand what Trump is really doing with his Executive Orders (EO). Encourage those to come who are able to put country before party. They will be proud to tell their grandchildren that they did sit around, but acted to preserve the Rule of Law in America.
Two, from day one, Trump wanted to overwhelm us with his non-stop EOs, thinking we would tire and give up. Since he will only get worse, the secret to a more peaceful state of mind is to ignore him, pay no attention to what he is saying or doing, rather just commit to getting out there and protesting (every couple of weeks) because crowds and courts will, in due time, win the day!
Our DUU team is working with others to plan a very BIG special Tucson protest on June 14 called No Kings Day (see below) in coordination with other towns and cities in Arizona and the country. More to come, but please mark your calendars now.
