7th Tesla Dealership Protest in Tucson

April 12 @ 8:30 am 10:00 am

Join thousands of Americans protesting Elon Musk, DOGE and Trump here in Tucson. Two months ago, the protests started small with a few hundred people, but they have grown to nearly 2,000!

The nationwide anti-Tesla protests are working. The company stock has cratered from $479 to only $282, hitting Musk right in the pocketbook, the only thing he understands. Unsold Teslas are cluttering dealerships, Tesla reported its first-ever drop in global sales, and Telsa owners are selling their Nazimobiles. Trump even had to stage a pathetic Tesla commercial at the White House on March 11.

A message from organizer Phineas Anderson:

Coming up, #7. We are all on the same page about the importance of hanging in there. We need to persist to resist. Trump and Musk will continue with their chaotic and destructive acts. They don’t stop, we don’t stop.

It’s getting hotter. We’ll have an 8:30 am start and end around 10. The numbers were tremendous on April 5 at Reid Park!  Congrats to all!  I was in D.C., and they were expecting 12,500 at the Washington Monument protest, and over 100,000 came! So, who knows what our numbers will be on 4/12?

Additional parking is at the Tucson Mall, and marching up from there with signs will surely get many supportive honks. I suggest you don’t park at Denny’s restaurant.

Though we do not anticipate any problems, peaceful and fun as normal, I met with Capt. Lauren Pettey of the Tucson Police Dept. and she has assigned 6-8 officers in cars for our 4/12 protest. When you see the officers, give them a thumbs up!

Bring water, put sunscreen on, and costumes are welcome, as are musical instruments. Wear white and attach your purple ribbons (we have some extras). Stay on the sidewalks. Self-monitor: If one of us is out of line, politely ask them to cool it.  Ignore taunts.  Be patient if you want to cross the street when the Vets for Peace have to keep you in place to let cars turn when the turn lanes are too long (we don’t want our supportive drivers to get angry with us).
