| Tabling After a well-earned summer hiatus, the LD18 Dems Voter Outreach tabling campaign is starting up again on August 31st. We currently have 30+ volunteers signed up and still have shifts available at libraries, farmers markets, MVDs, and at the Saturday morning protests in front of Congressman Ciscomani’s office. Our mission is very straightforward: to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot. This is a great opportunity to connect with voters! We will register voters and address questions and concerns about voting and elections, while also distributing voter guides and candidate promotional literature. This is a full-service team; we provide to our volunteers all supplies & materials, signs, a table, a t-shirt, a sandwich board, a tabling buddy, support and training. | Protests Protests in front of Congressman Ciscomani’s office at the corner of Swan & Pima begin again on Saturday, August 29th from 8:00am-10:00am and continue every Saturday morning until Election Day. If the temperatures drop enough in October, we will switch to 9:00am-11:00am. All are welcome to attend these weekly, family-friendly community protests. Let’s keep the pressure on until November 3rd! Bring pro-Mendoza signs or use one of ours! The LD18 Dems Resist@RushHour protests are going on at various corners throughout Tucson in the early morning and late afternoon. | Billboard We are proud to announce that the LD18 Democrats Board approved the funding of a pro-Mendoza billboard in Sierra Vista on State Highway 90, in an area with a 45MPH speed limit, with lots of traffic to and from Ft. Huachuca. The billboard will be up for eight weeks beginning September 7th. Look for it when you’re in the area! |
