- He helped start the new Marshall-Brennan program at the law school, which places law students in high schools to teach basic constitutional law and civics.
- He is working with Greater Tucson Leadership (GTL) to teach local leaders how to become involved in local government, by becoming active in a political party, school board, city council, or the board of supervisors. The non-partisan program has trained people in city and county management, Tucson’s three school superintendents, utility managers, the Arizona Corporation Commission, and the Central Arizona Project. Since 1980, GTL has graduated over 1,000 participants and expanded its leadership pursuits.
- Rothschild has partner with Pima Community College to promote economic development. The school has programs in engineering, advanced manufacturing, and aviation, to name a few. The idea is to bring in businesses to support students. The program will offer companies a trained workforce in exchange for opening a company location in Tucson.

Congressman Greg Stanton, CD-9 He is supporting Democratic Congressman Greg Stanton for Governor in 2022. Stanton now represents CD-9 in Maricopa County and was the mayor of Phoenix from 2012 to 2018. “He should be the front-runner,” Rothschild said, noting that Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is also considering running. The Democrats may face Republicans including unpopular Attorney General Mark Brnovich – who has indicted Democrats in a ballot collection case – or Arizona Board of Regents Secretary Karrin Taylor Robson.
