The LD18 Democrats ELECTIONS MATTER tabling campaign has bloomed all over the district. We now have over 30 volunteers at 16 unique, weekly shifts at Wilmot Library, Bear Canyon Library, Martha Cooper Library, Udall Farmers Market, and of course, at the Saturday morning protests in front of Congressman Ciscomani’s office. Our mission is to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. There are so many issues we can talk about at the tables. It is a great opportunity to connect with voters! We are also registering voters and helping them with address changes and the like.
In early 2026, we will be opening weekday shifts on The Loop, at the MVD on Stocker Drive, off 22nd St. and Sarnoff, as well as more shifts at the libraries. We are a full-service team; we provide all supplies, materials, signs, a table and training. Please contact me if you are interested in joining the team! Carolevans831@gmail.com
The Saturday morning protests in front of Congressman Ciscomani’s office continue without a hitch. (I will no longer call him Representative – he does not represent me or any of his constituents!) No matter that there has been a fence erected between the public sidewalk and the building parking lot, we carry on as usual and we will be there every Saturday at 9am, come fences, rain or shine. These are peaceful, family-friendly protests. We provide a large variety of signs if you do not have your own. Please join us when you can!
A big thanks to everyone who has joined us outside of Ciscomani’s office, volunteered to help at the tables, or contributed to help us supply the materials to make all this happen.
